Pretransplantation EASIX Score Predicts Nonrelapse and Overall Mortality of Adult Patients Undergoing Single-Unit Unrelated Cord Blood Transplantation

•Higher pretransplantation log2-Endothelial Activation and Stress Index (EASIX) value was significantly associated with lower risks of neutrophil and platelet engraftment, a lower risk of grade II-IV acute graft-versus-host disease, and a higher risk of veno-occlusive disease/sinusoidal obstruction syndrome after cord blood transplantation (CBT).•Higher pretransplantation log2-EASIX value was significantly associated with a higher risk of nonrelapse mortality and a lower risk of overall survival, but not a lower risk of relapse, after CBT.
