Glycemic variability and all-cause mortality in patients with diabetes receiving hemodialysis: A prospective cohort study

•Glycemic variability (GV) is a novel predictor of disease complication including mortality.•Previous studies showed increased GV in patients with diabetes receiving hemodialysis.•We found that high GV was independently associated with all-cause mortality among patients with diabetes requiring hemodialysis.•GV could be considered as a prognostic factor for this patient population.
