Triblock copolymers as versatile constituents of double stimuli-responsive ionic-liquid-based aqueous biphasic systems

•Triblock copolymers are combined with ILs to develop stimuli-responsive ABS.•IL and copolymer are the pH and thermo-responsive components, respectively.•ABS ternary phase diagrams are determined at various temperature and pH values.•Simultaneous response to stimuli depends on the copolymer structure.•Improved tailoring ability of the proposed ABS is shown by separating two dyes.
