摘要
•Aspergillus PAD-2 was isolated and cultivated on food waste to produce fungal mash.•Fungal mash promoted the sludge solubilization rate of 548 mg COD L−1h−1.•The combined fungal mash and free nitrous acid improved sCOD release by 2-fold.•Combined pretreatment increased CH4 yield by 100% and reduced the lag time by 80%.
