摘要
•This scoping review provides insight into the effects of antirheumatic therapies during pregnancy and neurodevelopmental outcomes in exposed offspring amongst parents with chronic inflammatory arthritis.•Exposure to certain antirheumatic therapies during pregnancy did not seem to increase risk of adverse childhood neurodevelopmental outcomes.•Antenatal glucocorticoid use may increase risk of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorders in offspring of women with rheumatic diseases.•Our review is limited by scarce number of studies that met inclusion criteria and were of variable quality.•Our review revealed a knowledge gap and need to disentangle the factors influencing long-term child health outcomes of parents with rheumatic diseases. These factors include maternal co-morbidities, socioeconomic status, antenatal medication use and clinical disease activity.
