摘要

•The management of refractory immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) represents a substantial challenge.•A combination of cyclosporine and eltrombopag induced a response in three-fourth of patients with refractory ITP.•A combination of cyclosporine and eltrombopag can result in sustained remission for refractory ITP.•Combination therapy was effective and well tolerated in most patients.
