•Space-time discrete switching complex networks is newly modeled.•Clusters synchronous frame to discrete spatial models is built in the first time.•Boundary feedback controllers with switching and clustering signals are designed.•Networks coupled with both nodes’ states and spatial diffusions are explored.•A computer algorithm is designed to implement the addressed results of this paper.
