Multifunctional surface of titanium alloy with dual-scale hierarchical micro/nanostructures fabricated by femtosecond laser processing

摘要
Multifunctional surface for self-cleaning and antireflection of titanium alloy sheets with various micro/nanostructures fabricated based on femtosecond laser processing. The wettability of titanium alloy sheet with dual scale hierarchical micro/nano conical structure arrays was superior to that of bare sheet. The processed titanium alloy sheets showed excellent durability and stability after a 15-day contact angle test and sandpaper friction measurement. In addition, the light absorption of the fabricated titanium alloy sheets was much higher than that of the bare sheet at a wavelength range of 200–2500 nm.
