A smartphone-assisted dual-response imprinted fluorescence sensor based on UiO-66 and quantum dots for detecting bovine hemoglobin

•A versatile strategy for bovine hemoglobin was designed.•A dual-emission fluorescence sensor (Si QDs/r-CdTe@UiO-66@MIP) was constructed.•UiO-66 was introduced as supporter for more imprinted sites.•Smartphone-assisted platform enriched visual detection tool of bovine hemoglobin.•The platform achieved detection in simulated real-sample with satisfactory results.
