Studying the mechanical properties of high-density polyethylene polymeric plates by friction Stir welding by adding copper oxide nanoparticles

In this paper, the welding was done by friction Stir welding (FSW) method for the High-Density Polyethylene Polymeric Plates with different rotational speeds (150, 200, 250 rpm) and constant feeding speed (22 mm/min) with the addition of copper oxide nanoparticles during welding and it was added using metallic powder under high pressure and with the help of inert gas. Mechanical tests were tested for the sealed materials and we obtained the highest welding efficiency at a rotational speed, and the efficiency reached the maximum tensile strength of original material.
