摘要

•A green method was developed for Cu-coated nanocapsules via electroless plating.•Sodium hypophosphite was chosen as the reducing agent for its non-toxic properties.•Optimal conditions for the synthesis of the nanocapsules were identified.•Improved thermal stability, reliability, and thermal conductivity were observed.
