摘要
Contrast Associated Acute Kidney Injury (CA-AKI) is one of the known complications of coronary catheterization. CA-AKI often transient, occurs within days of intravascular administration of iodinated contrast media and improvement in kidney function observed within days to weeks. CA-AKI has been associated with adverse outcomes such as kidney failure requiring acute kidney replacement therapy (KRT), high mortality, and long-term decline of kidney function. However, long-term trajectory of kidney function following an episode of CA-AKI remains unclear.
