摘要
•Orange-red emitting GdCaAl3O7:Eu3+ (1–8 mol %) nanophosphors were prepared by solution combustion route.•Photometric properties exhibit orange-red emission with high color purity.•The prepared nanophosphors were highly useful for solid state lightning and forensic applications.
