Exosome-mediated delivery of superoxide dismutase for anti-aging studies in Caenorhabditis elegans

•SOD was loaded into exosomes by extrusion with saponin to obtain SOD@EXO.•SOD@EXO protected the cells from MPP+-induced oxidative damage.•SOD@EXO extended the lifespan and healthspan of Caenorhabditis elegans.•SOD@EXO improved the tolerance against heat and oxidative stress of C. elegans.•SOD@EXO regulated the expression of aging-associated genes in C. elegans.
