摘要

•We quantify spatio-temporal changes of the Tibetan Plateau (TP) wetlands from 1990 to 2019 using deep learning.•The areal extent of the TP wetlands increased by 31.2% over the past 30 years.•Such rapid wetland expansion is associated with increasing rainfall and rising temperature.
