摘要

•The present work identified and characterized, LS25, a probiotically produced novel defensin like AMP.•Immunogenic and physicochemical properties of LS25 have been characterized.•In Silico immune simulations have been performed to demonstrate the immune response caused by LS25.•LS25 is suggested to be used as an adjuvant or carrier protein for subunit vaccine development.
