摘要

•In consensus with global in-silico data, HLA-A*02 allele is associated with susceptibility towards COVID-19.•HLA-B*15 allele documented earlier with highest binding affinity for SAR S-CoV-2 peptides could act as a protective allele.•HLA-DRB1*11 might induce protective immune response in the Indian patients with viral etiology.
