Diagnostic Electrophysiology Study: The Auckland Regional Experience

Auckland City Hospital provides electrophysiology (EP) procedures for people residing in the Northern Region and is a national service for paediatric and congenital cardiac patients. Electrophysiology procedures are primarily therapeutic and typically undertaken with a view to ablation. When ablation is not delivered, these procedures are considered diagnostic. This retrospective study was undertaken to explore the clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients who underwent diagnostic EP study.
