摘要

•First report of zircon from chromitite of the Ujaragssuit Nunat layered unit.•Eoarchean-Hadean Os isotopic signatures have been previously reported from there.•Zircon U–Pb age of ∼ 2.97 Ga and mantle-like Hf–O isotopic composition.•The Ujaragssuit Nunat unit probably formed at ca. 3.2–3.0 Ga Mesoarchean.
