摘要

•Physiological effects from supplementation of blue mussel meal (BM) were investigated.•Inclusion of BM in salmon diet maintained the n-3 PUFA level in the salmon fillet.•Inclusion of BM in mouse diet improved the n-3/n-6 PUFA ratio in mouse liver.•No BM-induced adverse effects were observed in the mouse model of obesity.
