摘要
•Enticing protein-based adhesive was constructed via dual crosslinking reactions.•Boron-coordinating dynamic covalently bonded network was synthesized with rich active sites.•Feather Keratin and boron-coordinated compounds simultaneously eliminate the adhesive hydrophilic groups.•The bonded plywood dry and wet tensile strengths increased by 72 and 186%, respectively.•The adhesive exhibit enhanced toughness, anti-mold ability, reduced viscosity, and low moisture uptake.
