Patient perspectives of ‘Watch and Wait’ for chronic haematological cancers: Findings from a qualitative study

•Chronic haematological cancers (CHCs) are incurable, and have relapsing-remitting pathways.•Generally treatable, CHCs are often managed via periodic or ongoing observation.•Trajectories are often uncertain and unpredictable and can cause anxiety and distress.•Routine assessment of coping would enhance the identification and resolution of difficulties.
