摘要
•Adaptive isogeometric formulation based on polynomial splines over hierarchical T-meshes (PHT-splines) is extended to investigate electromechanical fracture in piezoelectric composites.•An additional phase-field parameter is introduced in the model to regularize the sharp interfaces and capture the interaction between interfacial damage and crack propagation in piezocomposites.•The regularized energy terms corresponding to crack and interface fields are incorporated into the energy functional evading the need for line integration along them.•The approach can efficiently simulate the fracture behaviours including crack initiation, propagation, interfacial debonding and matrix cracking under different complex electromechanical loadings in piezocomposites.
