摘要
•CO2 and CH4 emissions from cotton fields in rotation with wheat were estimated in the fourth and fifth years of the experiment using the DNDC9.5 model.•The model validation results indicate that the model was effective at simulating soil factors and emitting gasses.•The simulation results showed that zero-till produced the highest CO2 emissions and conventional tillage produced the highest CH4 emissions.•Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that zero-till wheat-cotton rotations are preferable in hot and dry conditions.
