摘要

•The white deposits on the surface of CAC/HH decorative mortar were newly formed AFt and CaCO3.•AFt will be carbonized by CO2 in the air to form gypsum and calcite microcrystals.•PAE and VAE can inhibit the generation of AFt crystals and reduce the particle size of CaCO3 crystals.•Capillary water absorption was closely related to the whitening of CAC/HH decorative mortar.
