摘要
Volume loss in individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) on structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been previously shown in cognitive and affective processing areas, such as the prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, insula, thalamus, striatum, amygdala, and temporal lobe. Here, we present significantly reduced volumes in areas for memory and learning in a large sample of individuals with OUD receiving medication for OUD. We also illustrate significant sex-by-group interactions that have not been demonstrated in extant literature.
