摘要
•Novel core–shell magnetic nanocomposite bearing phosphonic acid ligand was developed.•The maximum adsorption capacity in 4 mol L−1 of HNO3 can reach up to 262.5 mg g−1.•Core-shell structure enhanced structural stability in strong HNO3 solution.•High selectivity for uranium in multi-component solution was obtained.•High free movement degree of phosphonic acid promoted U (VI) sorption efficiently.
