摘要

•SrTiO3/BaFe12O19 heterostructure was first synthesized and theoretically constructed.•Ba-ferrite plays a “two birds with one stone” effect to enhance photocatalytic activity and prevent metal ion leaching.•The refractory tetracycline could be rapidly degraded over heterojunction/PMS/Vis system.•The catalytic mechanism was explained on the electronic and atomic level.
