Impact of Yoga Training on Hippocampal Connectivity in Older Women at Risk for Alzheimer's Disease

Yoga may be an ideal early intervention for those with modifiable risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) development. To further elucidate the neuroprotective effects of Kundalini yoga and Kirtan Kriya training (KY+KK), we performed a fine-grained analysis of the effect of KY+KK versus memory enhancement training MET on hippocampal resting-state connectivity in women with subjective cognitive decline and cardiovascular risk factors for AD.
