Response inhibition, an essential component of executive function, is impaired in individuals with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Association of this deficit with prospective depression symptoms is still unclear. This study aimed to determine if event related potentials (ERP) recorded during the stop signal task (SST) prospectively predict symptom progression in a sample of individuals with MDD.
