A highly sensitive and wide-range pressure sensor based on orientated and strengthened TPU nanofiber membranes fabricated by a conjugated electrospinning technology

•An oriented TPU nanofiber membrane was prepared by conjugated electrospinning.•An TPU-nanofiber based wearable pressure sensor was assembled cost-effectively.•The sensor exhibited high sensitivity and wide sensing range simultaneously.•The sensor has excellent wearing comfort and mechanical stability.•The sensor can detect multiple human motions, deliver information, and map pressure.
