Bringing Precision in Psychiatry (PIP) Online: A LargeScale Internet-Based Investigation of Self-Report and Cognitive Predictors of Response to Depression Treatment

Depression is a heterogeneous disorder for which no single treatment is universally effective. Predictive models that can facilitate clinical decision-making in treatment allocation are sorely needed, but researchers lack the volume and breadth of data needed to generate robust and reliable predictions. Internet-based protocols that allow patients to participate remotely, wherever and whenever, may fill this gap.
