Effects of micro-slots in fully interconnected microchannels on flow boiling heat transfer

摘要
•Full interconnected microchannels are separated by three different slots per inch (SPI) of micro-slots.•Different slots per inch (SPI) of micro-slots can sustain high frequency nucleate boiling and delay dryout.•The HTC and CHF are significantly enhanced without penalty of pressure drop.•Compared to the plain wall microchannels, the HTC and CHF of full interconnected microchannels with 135 SPI are enhanced up to 5.5 and 1.82 times, respectively.
