摘要

•CuxO with different morphology were etched on the surface of copper wire mesh by anodic oxidation method, showed excellent photo-electro-Fenton catalytic performance.•A synergistic effect of photo-Fenton and photo-electro-catalysis occurred at the Cu2O photoanode.•Compared with previous research on copper-based materials, this study has lower economic cost, high H2O2 utilization efficiency, and more environmental friendliness.
