摘要

•α-synuclein has recently been linked with synaptic pathology and neurodegeneration in ASD.•SNCA trancript and α-synuclein serum levels were decreased in the ASD patients.•Similarly, SNCA trancript and serum α-synuclein levels were significantly decreased in the mothers of the patients.
