摘要
•More than two years after the COVID-19 state-mandated shutdown, the overall screening mammography volume trend has reversed from the pre-shutdown period, particularly for patients with risk factors for severe COVID-19 and exams performed in hospital-based settings.•Screening mammography has shifted from the hospital-based setting to the outpatient setting.•All patients would benefit from education and clear communication about the necessity of returning to screening mammography during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
