摘要
Faced with economic, technological and labor market changes, postgraduate studies are of great importance in professional training. While companies are looking for qualified managers to manage the business, professionals need to prepare for the market or advance in their careers. However, there is a lack of studies that assess the impact of graduate studies on careers, as well as authors who criticize graduate programs. Based on this context, the objective of this work was to investigate how a lato sensu postgraduate course in business administration impacts the career of business managers in brazil. The methodology can be classified as being of an applied nature, with a descriptive and exploratory objective, a quantitative approach and a survey method. In the field activity, a descriptive and statistical analysis was carried out, comparing data collected through questionnaires between course graduates and non-concluders. As a result, it was found that the course contributed positively to the career of managers in brazil, in terms of employability, remuneration, career progress and development of skills and abilities.
