A single-atom iron nanozyme reactor for α-ketoglutarate synthesis

摘要
This study reports a H2O2 trapper based on single-atom iron nanozymes (SAFs), which have excellent POD-like and CAT-like activities. Moreover, an enzyme-nanozyme nanoreactor containing SAFs and L-glutamate oxidase (LGOX) was constructed to produce α-ketoglutarate. SAFs could eliminate the by-product H2O2 produced during the oxidation of L-glutamate by LGOX and prevent the α-ketoglutarate from being oxidized to succinic acid.
