Slide deep reinforcement learning networks: Application for left ventricle segmentation.

•A deep reinforcement learning based framework is proposed to segment single frame image pixel-wise.•We propose a slider item combined state and a group of morphology transforming actions in the reinforcement learning segment networks.•We proved that the proposed network has strong expansibility for semi-supervised training and it is more flexible for input image size.•An identification algorithm is proposed in this paper, which provides a continuous environment for the implementation of reinforcement learning process.
