摘要
The note presents some preliminary results of a study aimed at evaluating the stability of a complex landslide under static and seismic conditions. The examined area is located at Montemartano village (Spoleto, Central Italy), where the combination of structurally complex formations, tectonic faults and the effects of environmental conditions strongly influences the stability of the hillsides, even with low-gradient slopes. The subsoil settings were defined starting from a deepened geological and geomorphological field survey and by geotechnical investigations. In addition, piezometric and inclinometer monitoring campaigns, as well as, satellite radar interferometry (InSAR) technique were used to study the kinematics of the landslide. The latter confirmed the ongoing movement of the landslide which was interpreted and back-analyzed. Finally, the behaviour under seismic loads was evaluated in terms of displacements of the unstable sliding mass.
