摘要
Abstract A male neonate diagnosed with single left ventricle, transposition of the great arteries, and valvular pulmonary stenosis, underwent staged single-ventricle reconstruction. However, he was found to have unilateral pulmonary circulation due to pulmonary artery hypoplasia and pulmonary venous obstruction after cavopulmonary anastomosis. Therefore, intrapulmonary-artery septation was performed. The function of each lung after intrapulmonary-artery septation was evaluated using cardiac magnetic resonance to assess whether the Fontan procedure was indicated, and the two-lung Fontan circulation was achieved. Therefore, cardiac magnetic resonance can be used to evaluate pulmonary circulation after intrapulmonary-artery septation and determine the patient’s eligibility for Fontan procedure.
