In India, farming assumes many conventional and modern processes, having large impact on GDP. Modernizing the old methods diminishes the manual practices at fields. Irrigation is one of these processes, which involves several activities like soil parameters estimations, arrangement of watering instruments with substantial itemized and labour costs. It directly affects soil quality, water availability for the plants, and ultimately, affects the growth and yield of the crops. If irrigation is well managed with accurate soil-water availability estimation, minimizing water requirement, and intelligent techniques of applying the water in sites of interest, then significant reduction in overall farming cost can be achieved with retaining soil nutrients and reusable irrigation facilities in the fields.
