COVID-19 and Sport Volunteering

In this chapter the authors explore the effects of COVID-19 on sport volunteering. The chapter discusses how sport organisations that are supported by volunteers need to reimagine the role of volunteers by becoming more agile and adaptable. The chapter also looks at the individual experiences of sport volunteers during the pandemic and the impacts on the community sport organisations they assist.
