•ICBT is associated with low target lesion failure rates at 1 year (18%).•More stent layers are associated with higher target lesion failure after brachytherapy.•TLF is not associated with final diameter stenosis or use of atherectomy.•ICBT has much lower rates of target lesion failure than balloon angioplasty (18% vs 40%).
