Physiologic Closed Loop Control Systems (PCLCS) are increasingly common in medical devices and require particular consideration from regulatory bodies to ensure their safety and efficacy1. Herein, we review currently approved devices that utilise automated control systems and their potential utility in the practice of neuromodulation therapy.
