Research on Miniaturized, UWB, and Low Sidelobe Vivaldi Antenna and Array

摘要
In this paper, a miniaturized wide-band Vivaldi Antenna unit is designed. Its array achieves low sidelobe and high gain. In order to realize miniaturization, the Vivaldi Antenna is designed with loading periodic corrugated edge structure. Gradual Slot Corrugated Edge and Inequality Rectangular Slot Corrugated Edge are used respectively. The two miniaturized structures are compared, and Gradual Slot Corrugated Edge structure with better performance is selected for array formation. The final antenna size is 45% ×46% less than the traditional antenna. Select the appropriate spacing composition 8×8 array and low sidelobe analysis. The size of the antenna array is only 96 mm × 84mm × 22mm.
