Aeroallergen sensitization and associated esophageal eosinophilia in a group of Appalachian pediatric eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) patients.

Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) presents with multiple clinical comorbidities. The literature has documented food allergy as the most common comorbidity, although aeroallergen sensitization has been identified. We sought to determine the importance of aeroallergen sensitization in our pediatric EoE population.
