摘要

Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) can be characterized by three inflammatory endotypes: type 1, type 2, and type 3. Endotyping has gained importance as precision biologics become available. Prior endotyping approaches evaluated biomarkers in nasal tissue but nasal secretions are easily obtained. Comparison of tissue and secretion endotyping biomarkers and their relationship to disease severity has not been performed.
