A Power Distribution Services Deployment Method Based on System Cost Minimization

In recent years, in order to meet the development requirements of automation and intelligence in the distribution network, the edge computing model for the distribution network has emerged, and the new distribution Internet of Things (IoT) based on the cloud-edge-end multi-layer resources architecture has attracted much attention. However, with the continuous improvement of the digital transformation of the power grid and the updating and iteration of the power distribution services, the cloud center cannot carry the communication, computing and storage pressure brought about by the growing data, and the edge computing terminal cannot match the computing resource requirements of a large number of power distribution services. In order to solve this problem, a cloud-edge collaboration mechanism based on power distribution services deployment optimization is proposed in this paper. By modeling and calculating the realization cost of power distribution service, and deploy it reasonably to the cloud, edge or perform other deployment methods according to the principle of cost minimization. This power distribution services deployment method not only meets the computing needs of power distribution services, but also combines the powerful resource capabilities of cloud computing with the ultra-low latency characteristics of edge computing. The results of the examples show that the reasonable deployment of power distribution services by using the deployment method in this paper can greatly reduce the execution cost of the service in the process of implementation, and it improves the real-time performance of distribution services and further realizes the optimal operation of distribution services.
