摘要
Combined abiotic stress in plants is the concurrent existence of two or more adverse environmental stresses that hampers the plant development and growth. Owing to continuously changing climate, combined stress conditions are more often present in the fields and have gained importance to maintain contemporary agriculture. Despite their significance, combined stress conditions are less studied as compared to the individual stress conditions. Wheat is a significant staple crop around the world. In this chapter, we have summarized the studies focusing on different types of combined abiotic stresses in wheat. This chapter will deliver an insight to the researchers that which areas of research should be concentrated to handle the issue of wheat yield loss under different combined abiotic stress conditions.
